Introduction
At Avalara I was tasked to create Dashboard designs for two Tax compliance Saas products, both of them with very different user personas to tackle, this is a small sample of what I've created during this exploration.
What it is?
A high level view of the design exploration work done for Saas VAT reporting and Managed VAT reporting (Avalara's Tax compliance software)
What have I done?
I was the design lead for the this project and was in charge of the:
• User interviews.
• User interviews.
• Working closely to PM's to better understand the requirements for the designs.
• Creation of all components and its variants. Making sure they fit with the company's design language.
• Understanding the hierarchy of information for high level designs.
• Prototyping in Figma.
• Worked closely with developers to make sure the build would respect the designs guidelines.
